Return Policy

We want you to love your Higbee Bike. If for any reason you’re not satisfied, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • The bike must have fewer than 20 miles on the odometer.

  • It must be in the same condition you received it—unused, undamaged, and in like-new condition.

  • All original packaging and materials must be included.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

Returns that arrive without prior authorization will not be accepted.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, email us at support@higbeebikes.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send a prepaid return shipping label along with instructions for packaging and return.

A $149 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund to cover insured freight.

We will respond with 24 hours. 

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your bike upon delivery and contact us immediately at support@higbeebikes.com if it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. We’ll work with you to make it right.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If it’s been more than 10 business days since your return was approved and you haven’t received a refund, please contact us.

International Orders – EU Customers

If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, under the EU “cooling off” period. The bike must be unused and in original packaging with proof of purchase.

Warranty Policy

We stand behind the quality of every Higbee Bike. All bikes are covered by a 1-year limited warranty, with extended coverage on the frame and fork.

What’s Covered

  • Frame and Fork: Covered for 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Electric Motor, Battery, and Controller: Covered for 1 year under normal use.

  • Display and Electronics: 1-year warranty.

  • Belt or Chain Drive System: 1-year warranty.

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, brake pads, grips, cables)

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper assembly

  • Modifications or aftermarket parts not installed by Higbee

  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches or rust

  • Battery degradation over time (up to 30% capacity loss is considered normal)

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To start a warranty claim, email support@higbeebikes.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue—either through repair, replacement parts, or service at a partner shop.
