Beyond Your Block

Beyond Your Block

The name Higbee comes from a stretch of beach in the far northwest corner of Cape May, NJ – about five miles from the center of town.
In my idealized version of summer, Cape May is the whole world. So building a bike that could reach its farthest corners with a quick ride felt like a way to explore that world completely.
But that idea isn’t just Cape May. Expanding your quick ride radius to five miles makes your neighborhood larger. It turns inconvenient errands into joyrides, turns a small town into a whole map, and makes your everyday world feel infinite.
In Philly, it’s the ride from Fishtown to the Art Museum, or Rittenhouse to Passyunk, City Hall to the Stadiums – close enough to be spontaneous, far enough to feel like something.
A car can stretch your world farther, but it also seals you off from it. A bike does the opposite. It brings the world around you within reach.
That’s what the Higbee Martini was built for — the five-mile radius (78 square miles) that holds your daily life.
  • Small wheels for quick handling.
  • A belt drive that stays clean.
  • A motor that turns every hill into an easy one.
  • A riding position that begs you to hop on.
Five miles shouldn’t feel like a trip. It should feel like your backyard.

Ride fast enough to slow down.

P.S. When you do want to go farther, the Martini’s 50+ mile range makes sure you can — well beyond your block, your neighborhood, and maybe even your state.
